When composing, my general idea for this piece was that it is performed as passionate as possible - like a bird trying to fly towards the sky, higher and higher. With controlled emotions at the beginning and then going towards the full climax and expression at the mid/end of the piece. The feel of the whole piece should be rising with somewhat free tempo with a strong feel of pulse.
